Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp water or more as needed for consistency

Instructions
 

  • In a blender or food processor, combine Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add water 1 teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, add more water or lime juice.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili powder or a dash of hot sauce.
  • This sauce pairs perfectly with tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or as a dip for vegetables.
