Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp Olive oil Extra virgin preferred
  • 1 tbsp Red wine vinegar Or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard For emulsification
  • 1 tsp Honey Or maple syrup for vegan
  • ½ tsp Salt To taste
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper Freshly ground
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder Optional
  • ½ tsp Dried basil Or your favorite herbs

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and basil until well combined and slightly emulsified.
  • Taste and Adjust: Taste the dressing and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more vinegar if you prefer a tangier dressing, or more honey for sweetness.
  • Store: Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use. The dressing will keep for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • For a creamier dressing, add 1-2 tbsp of Greek yogurt or avocado.
